Keep the Wild Untamed

The “Fresa Flaca” is the creation of Scott Beatty, mixologist extraordinaire at the Scout Field Bar in the Montage Healdsburg in Sonoma, CA..

The Scout Field Bar is known for their seasonal cocktails highlighting herbs and citrus from around the property, so Scott’s not afraid to infuse spirits; which is what he's done with the “Fresa Flaca,” pairing citrus from Sonoma with Dahlia’s curvaceous honeydew and floral notes.

Ingredients

2 oz. Strawberry-Infused Tequila Dahlia

.5 oz. Yellow Chartreuse

1 Bar Spoon of Green Chartreuse

.25 oz. Diluted Light Agave Syrup (2 Measures of Agave Syrup for 1 Measure of Water)

6 Dashes Bittermans Hellfire Bitters

Method

Infuse Tequila Dahlia with strawberries by cutting one pint of strawberries per bottle of Dahlia, and store in a sealable jar for 3 days.

Shake and double strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.

Garnish with strawberry slices, lemon balm, cucamelons (also known as “Mouse Melons”).
